Faculty, are you planning to apply for a Graduate Research Consultant for your Maymester or summer course? The deadline for Maymester/Summer 2015 courses is January 27.

Undergraduate students, are you planning to apply for a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship? The deadline is February 26.

You can attend the SURF Information Session on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, from
5:00-6:30 p.m. in the FPG Student Union Room 3408. In this workshop, you will hear from past Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) recipients about how they developed their successful proposals. There will be a short presentation by the Writing Center on how to develop proposals. A representative from the Office of Human Research Ethics will also speak briefly about human subjects research. You will have the opportunity to talk with OUR staff about proposal design, and learn more about the SURF Peer Writing Advisors who can give you valuable feedback on your proposal prior to submission.

Ideas for Action Competition: Has your research produced potential solution for a social problem? Consider the Ideas for Action Competition, the objective of which is to propose innovative ideas about financing the Post-2015 development agenda. Visit the website for more information. Deadline: December 22, 2014.

The Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation is accepting applications for a paid summer research internship. The deadline is January 5, 2015 at noon.

Here is a list of undergraduate research opportunities and internships compiled by the American Psychological Association.

Pathways to Science offers this guide to paid summer research opportunities for undergraduates. It includes research opportunities in the sciences and beyond.

Moore Undergraduate Research Apprentice Program (MURAP): Are you looking for a summer internship that will help prepare you for graduate school in the humanities, social sciences or fine arts? Are you willing to devote yourself full-time to that goal during ten weeks this coming summer? Are you a sophomore or junior and a permanent resident or citizen of the US?  If you answered yes to all these questions, you qualify to apply to our program. The applications for our summer 2015 program (May 24-July 30, 2015) will be available on our website beginning on November 3, 2014. The deadline for submissions is February 6, 2015.

Are you interested in conducting research with NASA? Read more here about research internship opportunities. The deadline for summer opportunities is March 1.

There is a paid summer research internship opportunity at the Oklahoma State University REU Site: Biological Basis of Human and Animal Behavior. The deadline to apply is March 2, 2015.
