We have rescheduled the workshop on Inquiry-Based Teaching and Learning!
Join us on April 4 from 10-12 for a workshop on Inquiry-Based Teaching. The workshop will start with a panel discussion of faculty talking about how they have used inquiry-based teaching in their courses. Presenters will discuss examples from their courses, how they assess student learning, and Aha! moments they have had. How did they structure the actual class? What do students say? How long does it take to do the research project? How long did it take to develop the course? Where did students stumble? What does an actual class look like? We will also have breakout sessions led by faculty from the Humanities, Fine Arts, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and undergraduate professional education who will answer your questions. Bring your syllabus and your questions about using inquiry-based teaching!
Facilitated by Molly Sutphen, Associate Director and Teaching and Learning Coordinator, Center for Faculty Excellence, and Donna Bickford, Associate Director, Office for Undergraduate Research.
