The University of Memphis is proud to welcome the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) to its campus on April 6-8, 2017.

NCUR showcases the best in undergraduate research and the creative and performing arts during this conference every year. Submit your abstract for an oral presentation, poster presentation, or visual or performing arts presentation by December 2, 2016. For more information, click here.

Get Research Experience


The American Educational Research Association (AERA) invites applications for an Undergraduate Student Education Research Training Workshop to be held Thursday, April 27th – Saturday, April 29th during the 2017 Annual Meeting in San Antonio, TX. This workshop is designed to build the talent pool of undergraduate students who plan to pursue doctorate degrees in education research or in disciplines and fields that examine education issues. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate Office of University Programs sponsors a 10-week summer internship program for students majoring in homeland security related science, technology, engineering and mathematics (HS-STEM) disciplines. The program provides students with quality research experiences at federal research facilities located across the country and allows students the opportunity to establish connections with DHS professionals. Application deadline: December 7, 2016. Apply here. For questions, email dhsed@orau.org.
