Join us for the

Celebration of Undergraduate Research!

The 18th Annual Celebration of Undergraduate Research at UNC-Chapel Hill will be held April 27, 2017, from 1:15 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Frank Porter Graham Student Union. The Recognition Ceremony will follow immediately after in the Union Auditorium. This event is free, open to the public, and registration is not required.

Undergraduate students present research in all disciplines in concurrent poster and panel sessions. Students can also use the Celebration as an opportunity to meet potential faculty advisors and find out about research opportunities at UNC-Chapel Hill.

Present Your Research

The Emory STEM Symposium brings undergraduates, graduate students and faculty advisors for presentations, networking, mentoring, and recruitment. Participants will include outstanding undergraduates intending to pursue the PhD or MD/PhD degree and graduate students seeking postdoctoral opportunities. Students are required to submit abstracts of their research for review by a selection committee. Application deadline: May 1, 2017. The 2017 Appalachian Energy Summit is a 3-day conference held July 10-12, 2017 in Boone, NC, encompassing discussion topics centered on improving current energy policies and practices in the nation. The Summit Poster Competition lends not only a competitive element to this engaging event but is also a platform for students to discuss their energy-related research. To begin the process of joining the next Appalachian Energy Summit, e-mail your resume to Anisha Sharma at aesstudentsummit@appstate.edu and fill out the attendance application to be considered.
