First-Years Are Encouraged to Apply to Marine Science REU at UNC-Wilmington

First-years interested in Marine Science are encouraged to apply to the University of North Carolina – Wilmington’s Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU). Running from May 19, 2024 – July 19, 2024, accepted students will work in collaboration with other researchers, learn new research skills, have opportunities to communicate their findings to a general audience, and be guided through the application process for fellowships.

Accepted students will also receive a $6,000 dollar stipend, along with housing support throughout the program. To learn more about the program and how to apply, please visit its website. Applications are due by 5:00 pm, Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
