Traces: The UNC-Chapel Hill Journal of History published its 12th volume

05/17/2024

Traces: The UNC-CH Journal of History just released its 12th volume, and the volume features work from 14 undergraduates from throughout the UNC system, with six articles written by UNC-CH undergraduates. It also features the work of two graduate students at UNC-CH, who wrote book reviews for this volume. Traces, therefore, offers a space for undergraduates and graduate students interested in historical research to be published alongside of one another.

Traces is also entirely student run, and has been since it was founded in 2011. This year, nine undergraduate student editors worked alongside the editorial board to produce the volume, peer reviewing submissions to ensure each published article attained the highest quality possible. To read the latest volume and learn more about Traces and its submission guidelines, please check out the journal’s website. If you are interested in submitting to Traces in the future, please email Traces or keep an eye out for our call for papers at the start of each Fall and Spring semester.
