Description

The Rodebaugh Lab seeks ways to help individuals who suffer from anxiety disorders and distressing health-related conditions such as tinnitus and chronic pain. A primary focus for us is whether and how those findings apply to individuals. We need to do better in determining what works for individuals so we can better understand how to help those individuals.

We are seeking undergraduate students to assist in a behavioral coding study using videos of romantic couples engaged in social support tasks. RAs will also gain exposure to statistical methods used to analyze these data (e.g., calculating inter-rater reliability, modeling time-series data, etc.). RA responsibilities typically include scheduling six in-person weekly hours to complete laboratory tasks, and attend a one-hour, in-person weekly lab meeting. We strongly prefer applicants who can commit to participating in our laboratory for both the fall 2024 and spring 2025 semesters. Interested students may also receive mentorship and support for applying to graduate school, particularly Clinical Psychology Ph.D. programs.
