Student Researcher: qPCR Protocol Creation (genetic differences following drug exposure)

Description

Interested in working with a student research to test and develop a qPCR protocol with specific time-restrictions. We use drug-exposed rodent brain tissue to test for genetic differences in brain regions following drug exposure. Initially, student researchers will observe and assist to learn basic research techniques, and then take on more independent projects as they gain experience.

qPCR data will be analyzed through R, and therefore students with basic R experience is preferred (but NOT required!).

Interested students should send their resume and a cover letter indicating their reasons for interest in the project.
