Substance Use and Addiction Research Assistant
The Biobehavioral Addictions Research Lab (UNC School of Medicine and Center for Alcohol Studies) is accepting applications for volunteer positions for the 2022-2023 academic year. Volunteers will gain hands-on experience with clinical and psychopharmacology research focused on alcohol and other drug addiction. Students will gain experience in one or more roles including participant recruitment and screening, structured interviewing, data management/analysis, assisting with drug challenge studies, and assisting with clinical trials involving medications. Prior research experience with human subjects and/or experience in medical settings is preferred, but not required. A minimum 12-month commitment is required.
