The Education Policy Initiative at Carolina (EPIC) is an interdisciplinary team within the Department of Public Policy that conducts rigorous research and evaluation to inform education policy and practice. EPIC is currently seeking undergraduate research assistants to participate in a range of projects focusing on education policy topics including educator preparation, strategic staffing, blended learning approaches, and post-secondary transitions. Undergraduate research assistants will work 10-20 hours a week and will have the opportunity to participate in the development of survey and interview protocols; primary data collection; qualitative data coding; analysis of qualitative and quantitative data; and writing of research reports.
