Undergraduate Research Assistant Position in Clinical Psychology
The Rodebaugh Lab seeks ways to help individuals who suffer from anxiety disorders and distressing health-related conditions such as tinnitus and chronic pain. A primary focus for us is whether and how those findings apply to individuals. We need to do better in determining what works for individuals so we can better understand how to help those individuals.
We are seeking undergraduate students to volunteer in study examining how anxiety changes over time for those with a public speaking fear as they complete a treatment. RAs will have the opportunity to participate and assist in the exposure therapy sessions to support our study therapists. RA responsibilities typically include attending six regularly scheduled, in-person weekly hours to complete laboratory tasks, and attend a one-hour, in-person monthly lab meeting. At least one evening shift (between 4pm- 8pm) weekly is required. We strongly prefer applicants who can commit to participating in our laboratory for both the spring 2025 and fall 2025 semesters. Interested students may also receive mentorship and support for applying to graduate school, especially Clinical Psychology Ph.D. programs.
