If so, the following information has been provided to guide you through the requirements and procedures set forth by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) on the UNC campus. An IRB application and subsequent IRB approval are required if you plan to involve human subjects in your research. The Office of Human Research Ethics is responsible for human subject research reviews on campus. The IRB office for UNC is on the 2nd floor of the Bolin Creek Building located at 720 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., and has both scheduled appointments and drop-in times.
