Social networking on the internet has grown rapidly in recent years. Facebook has become a part of the everyday lives of most undergraduate students of the United States. This study aims to provide researchers information on Facebook use and time management, and potentially help college students improve their time management practices on social networking sites. A web survey was conducted and a total of 110 responses was collected and analyzed. The findings suggest that about 45.5% of the undergraduate students used some type of time management practice on Facebook. The time management practices reported by participants were mostly corresponding with the common time management practices by college student. The findings also suggest students who practiced time management used Facebook less than those who did not, and the use of time management practices positively associate with students’ well-being and their adaptation to college.
