UNC-CH Amgen Scholars Application

The Amgen Scholars Program at UNC-CH is highly competitive. You will need to plan in advance and devote time to preparing and editing your application and soliciting letters of recommendation from faculty. You will need to start your application well before the deadline to make sure the faculty writing your letters of recommendation get advanced notice about the process as well.

Please note that the letter of application includes the following components:

1. Brief personal essays
2. University transcript(s)
3. Letters of recommendation
4. Preference of UNC-CH summer research mentors

The Application deadline is February 2nd, 2025.

UNC-CH Amgen Scholars applications will be reviewed by teams of faculty, graduate students, and staff from the Office of Undergraduate Research.
