We developed a rotatable device for 3D videography and used it to film intraspecific territorial chases between eastern pondhawk dragonflies (Erythemis simplicicollis) in the field. We examined the dynamics of these chases and found that E. simplicicollis often uses similar strategies in intraspecific territorial pursuits as in prey pursuits, and additionally displays longer latencies during intraspecific chases than during prey chases.
