Bullying is seen as one of the key issues in k-12 education because it can drastically effect students and their educational outcomes, especially when experienced in the more formative years (elementary and middle school). This paper will compare anti-bullying policies and their effectiveness across US middle schools. The research method will be a synthesis of the research already out there regarding anti-bullying policies and will culminate with policy suggestions that have strong evidence of positive change in different environments (rural, urban, etc.).
