Call for submissions for The Health Humanities Journal of UNC-Chapel Hill

The Health Humanities Journal of UNC-Chapel Hill is currently accepting submissions for its Spring 2024 issue. This interdisciplinary journal works to inspire and facilitate work related to health, illness, caregiving, and medicine. Submission categories include (but are not limited to): narratives, fiction, poetry, academic research, and artwork.

Submissions should be uploaded to https://hhj.web.unc.edu/submissions/. The deadline is Thursday, February 8th, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Work published in this edition of the journal will be eligible for the Walker Percy Prize, a $100 prize awarded each spring.

This publication allows for dialogue, meaning-making, and multiple representations of the body, mind, health/illness, and experiences dealing with the medical system and life in a global pandemic. For more information and to view our previous issues, please visit hhj.web.unc.edu.
