UNC-CH Undergraduates Present Their Research at Statewide Symposium

12/01/2023

This year, the State of North Carolina Undergraduate Research and Creativity Symposium (SNCURCS) was held on November 11 at Wingate University and South Piedmont Community College, where two UNC-CH undergraduates presented their research. Molly Zolotor from Environmental Science delivered a presentation titled “Climate Induced Shifts in Tropical Fish Species in The South Atlantic Bight,” and OUR Student Ambassador Jackqueline Nguyen from the Center of Environmental Medicine, Asthma, and Lung Biology participated in a poster session with a research project titled “Investigating the Effects of Disperse Azo Dyes on Environmental Peanut Sensitization.” We would like to congratulate them on this accomplishment, and we encourage you to check back next year if you are interested in presenting your research at SNCURCS.
