Description

The Coherence Imaging Laboratory, directed by Prof. Amy Oldenburg, is seeking a currently enrolled UNC undergraduate majoring in Physics, BME, Applied Sciences, or similar for an hourly paid position to assist in anatomic optical coherence tomography (aOCT) data processing, image analysis, and image segmentation. Candidates must be experienced in MATLAB programming. The position will initially require a commitment of at least 10 hours per week, with 6 of those hours being during normal business hours; additional flexibility may be possible later in the semester. Students who are able to continue the commitment into the summer will be given preference. The position may be extended into future semesters and may involve increasing responsibilities if mutually agreeable. The student will be mentored by a postdoc and graduate student in the laboratory and will have opportunities to observe ongoing imaging experiments.
