Undergraduate Hourly Lab Position in System Integration

The Coherence Imaging Laboratory directed by Prof. Amy Oldenburg is seeking a currently enrolled UNC undergraduate majoring in Physics, BME, Applies Sciences, or similar for an hourly paid position to assist in system integration and synchronization of a high-throughput OCT imaging system. Candidates must be experienced in LabVIEW programming. The position will require a commitment of at least 10 hours per week during normal business hours; students must be able to commit to a majority of the summer semester (mid May – mid August), and may optionally start the position earlier if they are able to do so. The position may be extended into future semesters if mutually agreeable. The student will be mentored by a current postdoc and graduate student in the laboratory and be invited to observe and participate in ongoing imaging experiments with the system.
