Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Emotions and Social Interactions in Relationships Lab
The Emotions and Social Interactions in Relationships (EASIR) Lab is seeking undergraduate research assistants to begin in Summer 2024, with opportunities to continue on in the coming academic year. For Summer 2024, research assistants will be running participants for the Relationship Expectations study. The Relationship Expectations study aims to investigate factors related to expectations, experiences, and behavior in romantic relationships.
Responsibilities in this position may include:
– Running 15-minute virtual lab sessions with individuals of all ages
– Following a strict protocol to determine eligibility, obtain consent, and ensure that the participants are prepared for the study
– Monitor calendar for participant sessions
– Use Calendly to post virtual sessions
– Answering questions participants may have about the study
– Potential opportunities for audio recording transcription or behavioral coding of participant videos
