Interested in neuroscience, psychology, or PhD/med school? Volunteer admin support needed! Learn the ins-and-outs of FDA- and pharmaceutical-funded clinical trials on developmental disabilities. Training with 1-1 supervisor provided!

Start date: Flexible. Candidates who can start remote trainings sooner will have priority.
Location: Primarily on-site at the CIDD, 101 Renee Lynne Court, Carrboro, NC 27510
Hours: 8-10 per week

The Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities (CIDD) is one of the largest programs for developmental disabilities in the country and is UNC-Chapel Hill’s primary source for treatment, education, and research on developmental disabilities.

The CIDD Clinical Trials Program consists of an interdisciplinary and highly collaborative team of physicians, scientists, and dedicated health professionals who love working with children and improving their health. We conduct in-human clinical trials delivering novel therapeutics to children with neurodevelopmental disorders.

Position responsibilities:
* Complete training on study protocols, UNC research infrastructure, and human-subjects research
* Build task management tools to improve project accuracy and efficiency
* Assist research coordinators with study organization, task management, and completing various components of visits
* Observe clinical assessments of your special interest (i.e. behavioral assessments, EEGs, physician exams)

RA will work directly with study coordinators Caisi Hecht (caisi.hecht@cidd.unc.edu) and Justin Birudavol (justin.birudavol@cidd.unc.edu), as well as Clinical Trials Program Supervisor Hannah Riehl (hannah.riehl@cidd.unc.edu).
