NOTE: This position is located in Kannapolis, NC, appx. 2 hours from UNC’s main campus.

A summer research assistantship is available within the UNC Nutrition Research Institute as an integral part of the Living F.R.E.E. (Research Focused on Reducing Excessive Eating) Lab under the leadership of principal investigator, Rachel W. Goode, Ph.D., MPH, LCSW.

The Living F.R.E.E (Research Focused on Reducing Excessive Eating) Lab is seeking a temporary research assistant to support various research projects focused on developing and evaluating interventions to treat disordered eating behaviors and obesity in African Americans and marginalized communities. For this temporary position, we are looking for a research assistant to assist with all aspects of the research project, including but not limited to conducting qualitative interviews, assisting with community data collection and entry, data analysis, and dissemination of results through publications and presentations. Applicants can also receive course credit.
