Undergraduate Laboratory Assistant
The Swanstrom Lab is looking for an undergraduate student who can commit to working at least 2 semesters in the lab. Responsibilities would include basic laboratory tasks and possibly helping assist researchers in their projects. Students will be expected to dedicate a minimum of 8-10 hours/week. We are looking for students who are organized, responsible, eager to learn and interested in our areas of research (HIV and infectious diseases).
We also have opportunities for students to move into undergraduate research for infectious disease studies. We provide outstanding mentorship, and many of our undergraduate research assistants have secured admission in competitive PhD programs and medical schools.
Interested students should send a resume to Ean Spielvogel at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please provide a cover letter, CV/resume, and availability for the summer and fall semesters.
